The snowman or adjusted snowman has been a very popular way of presenting hookbait for many years. To keep the sinking boilie and the pop-up close together and to make sure that the whole combination stays balanced many anglers use a lead shot on the hair. The use of this lead shot causes the snowman to sway and not stay in a vertical position. This makes it far more difficult for the carp to pick up the hookbait. To guarantee a successful take, Pole Position designed the Weight Screw. This handy, tungsten loaded weight has an ideal shape and can easily be screwed into the bottom bait. The flat shaped weight makes sure the snowman stands in a perfect position.
